In project will participate 14 local self-governments, including youth councils representing them, their guardians, as well as local government authorities and individual officials.

Under the supervision of our experienced staff and trainers, both young people and decision-makers will expand their knowledge and experience related to shaping local youth policy. Both groups will learn the essence of youth participation and involving young people in decision-making processes from different perspectives.

In addition to educational and training activities and own work, the working teams will also transfer good practices, including international ones.

The acquired knowledge and formed cooperation are to bear fruit in the form of creating local youth strategies based on the real needs of young people and the local community.

The project assume:

-an opening seminar for local government officials and youth councils’ supervisors together with the Marshal of the Opolskie Voivodeship, Mr. Andrzej Buła

-a series of trainings for local government authorities and officials

-a series of trainings for youth councils

-setting up working teams to create a local youth strategy

-conducting local public consultations along with a social campaign

-starting activities for the implementation of local youth strategies

-a study visit to Iceland

-Opolskie Youth Congress

The activities are carried out in the period from November 6, 2020 to October 31, 2022.
